Thakadu River Camp is unique as game lodges go, as it is owned by the local community rather than a large international property and hotel company. In the Malaria free Madikwe Game Reserve, with a surprisingly moderate climate, Thakadu River Camp is ideal for those who want to experience sustainable ecotourism without feeling like they’re visiting a resort hotel.
Traditional authentic African decor, delicious pan-African food and friendly, knowledgeable staff make this intimate bush camp a delightful safari experience, even for seasoned travelers of the African bush.
