This package  is for 15 nights’ accommodation in Cape Town, Prince Albert, Plettenberg Bay, Port Elizabeth and safari in the Timbavati. Also included is car rental, domestic flights and transfers.

Day 1 – Flight - Johannesburg – Cape Town

On arrival at Johannesburg Airport you must collect your luggage and make your way to the Domestic Departures Terminal and to the South African Airways check-in counter for your flight departing  to Cape Town.

Day 1-12 – Car Rental

On arrival at Cape Town Airport you have to make your way to the car rental desk to pick up your car for 11 days. It will be a  group B –Toyota Corolla or similar, manual with air-conditioning including contract fee, super cover and unlimited mileage.

Day 1-7 – Waterfront Marina Residential – Cape Town

The Waterfront Marina is an apartment complex next to the harbor in the V&A Waterfront (number one most visited tourist attraction in Africa). The Waterfront Marina is the perfect base to explore Cape Town city center and its surroundings.

The apartments are very luxurious and although self-catered we can arrange for breakfast to be delivered to you. However, you are a short walk from the V&A Waterfront where you will find a choice of the best restaurants and cafés in Cape Town.

From the V&A Waterfront you can catch the Hop-on-Hop-off buses that tour the city and stop at Table Mountain. The ferries to Robben Island also depart from the V&A Waterfront.

Day 7-8 – De Bergkant Lodge – Prince Albert

De Bergkant Lodge is a classic style Cape Dutch home, built in the mid 1800s by the famous architect Carel Lotz as a wedding present for his daughter Petronella. It lies at the foot of the massive Swartberg mountains, a short way away from “The Hell”, which despite its name is one of the most beautiful unspoiled valleys in the Karoo.

There are eight rooms all en-suite with “much talked about” bathrooms, and uniquely decorated with antiques that the owner has collected throughout the years.  There is a lovely swimming pool in a peaceful garden, where guests can enjoy and relax with a nice glass of wine. This an ideal place to get away from it all.

Day 8-11 – Milkwood Manor – Plettenberg Bay

Day 11-12 – Ibhayi Guest Lodge – Port Elizabeth

Ibhayi Guest Lodge is a luxury guesthouse in Walmer in Port Elizabeth.  It offers seclusion and luxury, but is within easy walking distance of most of Walmer’s attractions, and a short drive to anything else of interest in Port Elizabeth. Day 12  – Flight – Port Elizabeth – Johannesburg – Hoedspruit

You will drive the approximate 10 minutes to the airport and drop off the car rental before you check in for your flight to Johannesburg.  On arrival in Johannesburg O R Tambo you must collect your luggage and make your way to the Domestic Departures Terminal for the connecting flight to Hoedspruit. Flight time is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

On arrival in Hoedspruit a driver will be waiting for you. He will transfer you to Kambaku about 1 hours’ drive. A great part of the drive is done in the Game Reserve where you can get a chance to encounter some of the animals.

Day 12-16  – Kambaku Safari Lodge- Timbavati

Day 16 – Transfer from Kambaku – Hoedspruit – Johannesburg

After breakfast you will be picked up at the lodge and driven back to Hoedspruit airport in time for your flight to Johannesburg.
