To take advantage of the sheer remoteness, each guest suite has a skylight directly over the bed, so that you can take in the unparalleled view of the night sky. At Sossusvlei, you will experience seclusion and serenity many of us battle to find in this fast-paced modern world.
Accommodation
- Ten roomy stone and glass villas are situated at the foot of a mountain, which overlooks a sea of red sand dunes. Each air conditioned suite is decorated in such a way as to add to the russet hues of the one of the oldest living deserts on earth.
- Each villa has its own private verandah, a split-level lounge area with a fireplace and the aforementioned star-viewing window above the bed.
- All villas have an en-suite glass-encased bathroom with both indoor and outdoor shower.

Access
- Access is available by daily charter flight to the Sossusvlei Desert Lodge’s private airstrip or by car on well-maintained gravel roads. The airstrip is six minutes away from the lodge.
- During the rainy season between November and May it is suggested to make use of a 4×4 vehicle when coming from Swakopmund (400 km) or Windhoek (380 km).
