Beautiful, thatched Thakadu River Camp lies along the Marico River banks in the Madikwe Game Reserve, South Africa. The reserve is spread alongside the Botswana border, and is one of the few reserves in Southern Africa which is malaria free, offering an authentic and exciting safari experience without the worry of taking prophylactics.

Game drives led by expert rangers in 4×4 safari vehicles is a wonderful way to explore this large reserve. You can also get more intimately involved with an animal tracking experience, on bush walks through the reserve.
