Some cottages and suites have private Jacuzzis, gorgeous terraces and comfortable sitting areas. Cottages and the Master Suite are best for couples seeking privacy and romance; each is located on a beachfront lawn with a private garden and allows guests to get the best of the beach setting. The Master Suite has a private Jacuzzi and veranda with uninterrupted beach views.
The pool with its beautiful gazebo and local stone structure is designed to flow into the surrounding nature and provides a scenic and tranquil space for relaxing and sunbathing. Snacks and drinks are also served poolside.
The restaurant is excellent, with varied menus and great service. Meals can be arranged for couples on the beach, and sometimes staff will even surprise you with a romantic private dinner. Attentive service is a highlight here; guests can also request particular ingredients and staff will try and source them. Water-based activities on Diani Beach are varied and range from relaxed (dhow cruises, snorkeling and dolphin safaris) to adrenaline-spiking (kitesurfing, windsurfing, and jet skiing). There is also a great golf course 2km away for golfers.
Don’t miss out on diving in the area, if you can – the marine life is superb. Island trips and visits to the nearby wildlife reserve can be arranged by the hotel as well, both well worth a day’s visit.
