The unfenced camp means regular visits from elephant, bushbuck, giraffe and hippo, and the area also sees good proportions of lion and leopard. This does mean that the camp is not suitable for small children, but rather caters to adults and group travelers.

Why choose Lion Camp:

  • Just 9 chalets and a maximum of 18 guests, perfect for a peaceful escape
  • Infinity pool with fantastic views on the lagoon and bush
  • Plenty of opportunity for up-close encounters with elephant, giraffe and buck

Staying at Lion Camp:

9 raised chalets, with colourful quirky decor, mean that game viewing is great from the bedrooms themselves, and wood platforms connect the rooms with the main areas of the camp.

An infinity pool, sun loungers and bar provide a relaxing space from which to spot animals on the lagoon and bush. Daily Land Rover safaris and bush walks cover good ground and an excellent game viewing and bird watching.

Daily meals, with 3 course dinners, are prepared on site, with fresh local ingredients; meals at Lion Camp are social and good opportunities for meeting and chatting to other guests.
