- A five-minute drive to the Table Mountain Cable Car. It is advised to book tickets online, which are valid for 10 days from date of purchase, and then phone in every day to see if it is running as it shuts down in heavy wind.
- Camps Bay and Clifton Beaches are only ten minutes away. Although they look close together from the top of Table Mountain, don’t attempt to walk between them over the rocks! You will get sunburnt and lost. Take the footpath next to the road instead.
- Daily shuttles leave from the Waterfront on wine tasting tours, so simply take your pick and hop on the bus for half or full-day wine tasting tours, at very reasonable prices.
Access:
- 15 minutes by car from Cape Town International Airport – simply drive down the N2, stay in the right lane (but not the bus lane), and follow the signs for the V&A Waterfront.
