ABOUT SAFARI GUIDE AFRICA
Name: David
Background: A 34 year old project manager that also enjoys travelling, photography, hiking and writing.
I have a true passion for wildlife in all its forms, and when I can combine it with world travelling that’s when I feel most alive.
I went to my first safari when I was in my early 20's in Hwange, Zimbabwe. Ever since then I've tried to visit as many African countries as possible but I've spent most my time in the south and south east parts like Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Africa.
My favourite safari moment was travelling at a quite slow pace through the Serengeti, getting to see the endless lines of wild beast and the hungry big cats disturbing the peaceful movement.
I hope that we can with this website make your heart beat for the African wildlife like my heart does and at the same time raise the awareness of the need for preserving our wildlife areas in the world.
Name: Jeffrey
A 30 writer who grew up in Southern Africa and has travelled extensively throughout the region.
When I was about 3 years old my family moved to Zimbabwe and it was at that time that my love for Africa was sowen. Visiting or living in both the smaller rural towns and the bigger cities has given a good perspective from which to Africa. I have mostly spent time in Zimbabwe, Malawi and Tanzania and South Africa.
My best memory of Safari has to be when we got caught in a summer rainstorm just after dusk in north eastern South Africa. With only the lightning flashes to light up the surroundings we held on in the back seat of our open Land Rover as we raced towards camp.
With SafariGuideAfrica we get to share our experiences, and you to share yours, to give safari advice to those who seek it. I hope you enjoy the site.
